Working in Bath BA2
South Bath is a real mix. Oldfield Park and Bear Flat are mostly Victorian terraces where off-street parking is scarce; the post-war and later estates around Odd Down and Twerton often have front gardens that can take a driveway; and Combe Down, up on the hill, is where much of the stone that built Georgian Bath was quarried.
Widcombe and Bathwick sit close to the centre, and much of both is in the city's conservation area. As in BA1, we check what needs consent before planning new boundaries or surfaces at older properties.
One detail worth knowing in the valley villages: Limpley Stoke has a Bath postcode but is in Wiltshire, so a dropped kerb there goes to Wiltshire Council, while Freshford, Monkton Combe and Claverton are in Bath & North East Somerset.
