A compliant crossover involves more than lowering a few kerb stones: the footway has to be excavated and rebuilt to a heavier-duty specification so it can carry vehicles, with kerbs re-laid at the correct transition heights.
We often combine dropped kerb work with a new block paving, resin or tarmac driveway, handling the whole project — application guidance, crossover and driveway — as one job.

A dropped kerb is priced on the width of the crossing, the depth of footway to rebuild, and what's under the pavement. The council's own application fee is separate and paid to them.
